Join us as we celebrate Gahagan Nature Preserve’s induction into the Old-Growth Forest Network!
The Open House will take place from 1–2 p.m., followed by a special induction program at 2 p.m. This national recognition honors the Preserve’s mature native forest, including its remarkable old-growth pine stands.
Learn about the Old-Growth Forest Network and the characteristics that distinguish old-growth forests, then join us on the trails for a short guided nature walk.
