About the event
This event marks the grand opening of the Preserve’s new building addition, completed over the summer, and is the perfect reason to come together and celebrate nature, community, and discovery.
The Open House portion will take place from 1-2pm where you can check out our progress so far, and learn how you can be a part of our goals for the future. An educational presentation from environmental engineer Allie Moffit will take place from 2-3pm: learn how invasive species impact our woods and waters, and how the health of local water bodies shapes the ecosystem.
